Campaign & Community Guidelines

1. Purpose of These Guidelines

Bright Future Foundation is a crowdfunding and fundraising platform where people create campaigns and others contribute to them. These Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed on the Platform. They apply to every campaign organizer and to all campaign content, and they work together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We may update these Guidelines from time to time. Campaigns that do not meet these standards may be reviewed, restricted, suspended, or removed.

2. Organizer Commitments

By creating a campaign, you represent and agree that:

• The information you provide about yourself and your cause is truthful, accurate, and not misleading.
• You are not impersonating any person or organization, and you are using your real identity.
• If you are raising funds on behalf of someone else (a beneficiary, family member, or organization), you have that person's or entity's authorization to do so and to share the information in the campaign.
• You have permission to use any photos, images, names, and personal or medical details that appear in your campaign — including any details about children or other third parties.
• You will use funds only for the purpose described in your campaign.
• You will comply with all applicable laws, including tax, sanctions, and consumer-protection rules that apply to you.
• You will not submit falsified documents or fabricated evidence.

3. Prohibited Campaigns

Campaigns must not involve, promote, or be used for any of the following. This list is not exhaustive, and we may act on anything we reasonably believe is harmful, deceptive, or unlawful.

Fraud & deception

• Fraud, scams, or attempts to obtain money under false pretenses
• False identity, impersonation, or unauthorized fundraising on behalf of another person or organization
• Misleading, exaggerated, or fabricated information, or falsified documents
• Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, or "get-rich" / guaranteed-return schemes

Illegal or restricted activity

• Any illegal activity, or the funding of illegal activity
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
• Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, or campaigns intended to purchase, finance, manufacture, distribute, or otherwise support such items
• Terrorism, violent extremism, or support for such groups or activity
• Counterfeit goods or intellectual-property infringement
• Activity that violates economic sanctions, or that is intended to bypass financial-system or sanctions restrictions
• Gambling, betting, lotteries, raffles, sweepstakes, or games of chance used as a fundraising mechanism
• Adult or sexually explicit services

Harm to people

• Hate, harassment, or fundraising that promotes discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics
• Exploitation, endangerment, or abuse of minors
• Deceptive medical fundraising, or campaigns that promote knowingly false or dangerous medical claims

4. Higher-Risk Categories

Some legitimate campaigns fall into categories that carry a higher risk of harm or abuse — for example, medical fundraising, campaigns involving minors, legal-defense funds, or campaigns raising very large amounts. We reserve the right to review these campaigns more closely, request additional information, and apply additional conditions before or after a campaign goes live.

5. Content & Privacy Standards

Campaign pages are visible to the public. When you include personal information — stories, photographs, health details, financial circumstances, or information about family members or beneficiaries — you must have the appropriate authorization to share it. Do not publish another person's private or sensitive information without their consent, and take particular care with information about children.

6. Reporting & Enforcement

Anyone can report a campaign they believe violates these Guidelines using the "Report" link on the campaign page, or by contacting us. We review reports and may take action that includes requesting more information, limiting a campaign, pausing payouts, suspending or removing a campaign, and — in cases of fraud — referring the matter to the relevant authorities.

Enforcement is carried out using reasonable measures and good-faith judgment. We do not guarantee that we will detect every violation, and acting (or not acting) in one case does not limit our rights in another.
