The Bright Future Foundation Guarantee
We use safeguards designed to help identify suspicious activity and respond to reports of fraud or misuse. If a campaign is found to be fraudulent or in violation of our policies, we will work to make it right — which may include issuing refunds where applicable, in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. What the Guarantee Covers
The Bright Future Foundation Guarantee applies to all donations made through our platform. It is our promise that:
Your payment information is handled securely and never sold to third parties
Campaigns are monitored for fraud, misrepresentation, and policy violations
Donations are made to Bright Future Foundation, which directs funds to the causes it supports; organizers agree to our Terms of Use, and disbursements may be subject to verification and review
You will receive a donation receipt for tax purposes when applicable
Our team is available to investigate and resolve any concerns you raise about a campaign
Every campaign organizer agrees to our Terms of Use before launching. Violations are taken seriously and may result in campaign suspension or removal pending investigation.
2. Donor Protection
As a donor, you are protected in the following ways:
Fraud protection: If a campaign is confirmed as fraudulent after you donate, you may be eligible for a refund, subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy
Anonymous giving: You may choose to donate anonymously — your name will not be shared publicly or with the campaign organizer
Receipts & records: You will always receive a confirmation email with your donation details for your records
Transparent fees: Any applicable platform fees are disclosed before you complete your donation
Dispute resolution: If you believe a campaign misrepresented itself, you can submit a report and our team will review it, generally within 5 business days
3. Campaign Standards
All campaigns on Bright Future Foundation must meet our standards before and after launch:
Organizers must provide accurate, truthful information about themselves and their cause
Campaign funds must be used for the stated purpose
Organizers must provide updates to donors on the progress of their campaign
Campaigns promoting hate, violence, illegal activity, or deceptive practices are strictly prohibited
Our trust and safety team continuously monitors campaigns for compliance. Campaigns that fall short of these standards are suspended, and donors are notified when a campaign they supported is affected.
4. Secure Payment Processing
We take payment security seriously. All transactions on Bright Future Foundation are protected by:
TLS/SSL encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted
PCI-DSS compliance: Our payment processors are certified to the highest security standards in the industry
No stored card data: We do not store your full credit or debit card numbers on our servers
Fraud detection: Automated systems monitor for unusual transaction patterns and flag suspicious activity in real time
5. Refunds
Refund eligibility is determined in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is the single source for how refunds are reviewed. Depending on the circumstances, refunds may be reviewed for issues such as unauthorized payments, duplicate charges, technical or processing errors, or verified fraud involving a campaign.

6. How to Report a Concern
If you come across a campaign that you believe is fraudulent, misleading, or in violation of our policies, please report it immediately. Here's how:
1Use the "Report" button found on every campaign page. This sends an immediate alert to our trust and safety team.
2Provide details. The more context you share — screenshots, links, specific claims — the faster we can investigate.
3We aim to follow up, generally within 5 business days. All reports are confidential. You'll receive an update on the outcome when our review is complete.
7. Organizer Accountability
Campaign organizers on Bright Future Foundation agree to a strict code of conduct. By creating a campaign, organizers commit to:
Using donated funds exclusively for the purpose stated in their campaign
Providing regular updates to donors on how funds are being used
Responding to inquiries from donors and our support team in a timely manner
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date campaign information
Organizers who fail to meet these obligations may have their campaigns suspended or removed, may be barred from creating future campaigns, and — in cases of fraud — may be referred to law enforcement authorities.
8. Limitations of the Guarantee
While we take reasonable measures to protect donors and to identify and act on campaigns that violate our policies, the Bright Future Foundation Guarantee has the following limitations:
We cannot guarantee the outcome of any campaign or that a specific fundraising goal will be met
Bright Future Foundation acts as a fundraising platform, not a charity itself — we facilitate donations between donors and organizers
Once the Foundation has disbursed funds to a verified organizer who has complied with our Terms, we are not responsible for how those funds are subsequently used
The Guarantee does not cover donations made outside our platform or through unofficial channels
